Details
About The Lounge Chair.
Same repurposed teak, same Shou Sugi Ban finish, same bolted system as The Chair.
Seat and backrest are made of separate slats held in a bolted frame, so parts can be replaced.
Like every Another Life piece, it is made from timber that already had a first life. Marks from that life stay visible, wherever they don't reduce strength. And if a part ever wears out: replace the part, not the piece.
Another Life Passport
Its own story, one scan away.
We are building a tracing system that gives each piece its own QR code and its own story: where the wood of The Lounge Chair lived before, who made it, and how to care for it and repair it.
