Collection

SATU

Our first collection. Seven pieces in one material, one finish and one way of building.

Satu means one in Indonesian. One material, one system, one idea carried through every piece. The collection is made from repurposed teak, timber that has already lived a life, often in old joglo houses, and given another through Danish design and Indonesian hands.

Every piece is modular and knock-down. It travels flat, comes apart without damage, and goes back together as it was. If one part reaches its end, only that part is changed.

The surface is finished with Shou Sugi Ban: the teak is darkened with flame and finished with natural oil. What is left is the material itself: honest, tactile, and made to age well.

Old wood, new purpose, long life.
